
HEATHER GILL
Artistic Associate
Heather Gill was classically trained in ballet as a member of the professional division of The School of Cleveland San Jose Ballet Company studying under the tutelage of Gladisa Guadalupe, Denis Nahat, Cynthia Graham, and Elena Costanza. She also had the opportunity to train with Ballet Masters from The Bolshoi and Kirov Ballets, The School of American Ballet, and The Royal Academy of Danish Ballet. Ms. Gill performed with The Cleveland San Jose Ballet Company and several contemporary ballet and modern dance companies throughout Ohio.

Ms. Gill then attended Case Western Reserve University, majoring in Biology, Psychology, and Dance, receiving the award for Dance Excellence in Performance. Her molecular lab bench/basic science research in hematology, immunological vaccines and neuroscience at the Cleveland Clinic's Lerner Research Institute led to her graduate studies in neuroscience and psychology. She next obtained her graduate degree in clinical counseling psychology and now enjoys rewarding work through her private practice focusing on developmental psychology across lifespan, and mood disorders emphasizing on anxiety, performance anxiety with athletes, and depression. Through her private practice, Ms. Gill has particularly enjoyed working with adolescent and young adult athletes training for Olympic qualification in figure skating, gymnastics, and swimming.
