SAUNDRA STAVIS BOHL
Saundra Stavis Bohl graduated from the High School of Performing Arts in New York City before earning a B.A. in mathematics and music from Oberlin College and an M.A. in education from John Carroll University. Her professional career includes being a performer and Artistic Director of Fairmount Spanish Dancers, Artistic Director of Fairmount Spanish Dancers Junior Company, and co-founder of Flamenco Fire. She has the honor of being an Artist in Residence through the Ohio Arts Council since 1980, teaching kindergarten through college throughout Ohio. She is a Spanish dance teacher at Fairmount Center of Performing Arts, Hawken School, and Cleveland City Dance. She has studied with notable artists including Libby Lubinger, Ilissa Rosal, Jose Molina, Jose Greco, Nana Lorca, La Tati, Teo and Isabel Morca, Carlotta Santana, Azorin, Maria Benitez, and many others in Spain, New York, Chicago, Washington D.C., Miami, and Santa Fe.
