Stacie Preuhs is originally from Brookhaven, Pennsylvania and began dancing at the age of five. She started her dance training at Parkside Academy of Music and Dance under the direction of Pamela Dimeler and Laura Dutton, and Swarthmore Ballet Theatre under the direction of Lori Ardis. Stacie continued her dance education at Mercyhurst University, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance and graduating with all honors magna cum laude in 2020. While a member of the Mercyhurst Dance Department, she had the opportunity to perform a variety of roles in ballets such as Symphony Italienne and Giselle as well as gain choreographic experience, presenting her own choreography in a multitude of choreographic showcases. In 2017, she was selected to perform in Norwich, England with the Mercyhurst Liturgical Dance Ensemble and in 2019, she studied and danced abroad in Dungarvan, Ireland. In the summer of 2020, Stacie came to Cleveland where she completed School of Cleveland Ballet's trainee program before being promoted to the company for their 2022-2023 season.
