Vadim Slatvitskii is originally from Novosibirsk, Russia. A 2010 graduate of Russia’s Novosibirsk State Choreographic College Vaganova training program, Vadim had the honor of dancing with Novosibirsk’s professional company under the direction of the renowned Igor Zelensky. He has performed a number of complex soloist and corps de ballet roles in many well-known ballets such as: Spartacus, Swan Lake, La Bayadere, Giselle, Le Corsaire and Cinderella. He was honored to work with Nacho Duato, Edward Klug, Igor Zelensky, Mikhail Messerer, Genrikh Mayorov, Nikolay Tsiskaridze, Oleg Vinogradov, Zhanna Ayupova, Denis Matvienko, Ivan Vasiliev, Natalia Osipova, Leonid Sarafanov and Sergey Polunin. In 2018, Vadim joined Israel Ballet as a soloist. During this time, he worked with Teatro alla Scala’s Loretta Alexandrescu Stein performing groundbreaking works such as Nova Carmen created by Batsheva Ballet’s Sharon Eyal. He also performed many classical pieces including George Balanchine’s Serenade and Giselle. In 2020, Vadim was pleased to be invited to the USA as a soloist and Vaganova expert with Manassas Ballet Theatre. He joined Cleveland Ballet in 2022.
